Wonderfully soft white cotton handwoven and handprinted in Mali, made into 12" x 14" lumbar pillow cushion covers in Minnesota!
The charm of handmade Mali cloth is in it's unique design and rustic, handmade nature. Cotton is spun, softened and woven in narrow strips or panels, then dyed and/or printed by hand. Those panels whip-stitched or sometimes zigzag stitched together to create yardgoods for garments or decor. I buy them as "whole cloth" from my African salesman when he comes to town and then fabricate by hand and machine at Miller Upholstering shop in Minneapolis Minnesota into the sizes and shapes that each designed cloth intuits to me. This one wanted to stay small - thus - the little lumbar!
Sold with 12" x 18" economy filled 10/90 down/feather form included.
All serged with invisible zipper closure. Handmade by Helen at Miller Upholstering shop in Minneapolis Minnesota.
